Robert Clarence Keith KENNY/KENNEY - Info please

I've looked everywhere for info about this person but no cigar.  All I have is his birth cert, he was born 13 Apr 1894 at Murrabit in northern Victoria.  His parents were Frederick William KENNY  (sometimes KENNEY) and Rose Annie nee MASLIN.  I can find no record of a death or marriage.  He was the last of six children to this couple and his mother was committed to an asylum in Jan 1895 when he was less than twelve months old.  Of the three surviving children (inc Robert) one I know of was brought up by John Richard Maslin Rose Annie's brother.
Just hoping someone can help unlock this mystery please.

The birth is registered to a place called Koonapook, Victoria however this place self corrects to Koonoomoo, Victoria, 208km to the east of your  Murrabit. Registration number is 13179.

I have found the same number with his full name, still Koonopook though.

Nettie according to my resource the births were registered in the district of Koondrook which would include Murrabit.  I suggest you are looking at a birth index on an online subscription website which has lots of transcription errors.

Bob stated he has the birth certificate so not just an entry on an index.

Bob I have had a search for Robert but like you I can't find anything.  I wondered if he was mentioned on his father's 1944 death certificate?  I couldn't identify Frederick W on the electoral rolls either.

Thanks Nettie & Cando for your input.  The father Frederick William sometimes called himself William, even so I can't find him on the electoral rolls either.  On his wife's file from Beechworth asylum three contact places are given for Fred all along the Murrey.  I think he became a bit of an itinerent.  There is no mention of wife or children on his death certificate.

I must say I think this chase is a dead duck!

I wonder if Robert was made a ward of the state....there are records at PROV.

Cando, had a PM from 'essie' she found a death in NZ that looks very promising.  I'm following that line but he could have been a ward as a child, I'll look att that as well then report back!
