Question - old thread, new info
« on: Wednesday 21 October 15 16:56 BST (UK) »
Hi
Its been so long since I posted here I cant recall how it works.
I replied to a four year old thread which i hope others may pick up on as I am searching for some more information but I'm not sure if that will be the case? The rootschat user who was so helpful hasn't been active on here since march 2015 so I am guessing I wont hear from her.
Should I post as a new topic - is there any way of linking back to the old thread?
Can anyone help?
Regards
Sophie

Must be this one, is it ?

Have you tried clicking on the name danuslave, going to the next screen and sending a personal message (pm). It might be that  Linda has the notifications turned off, so it might be worth trying that way.

Or you could raise your own thread and link to the old one.

I would recommend keeping everything in one place, so there's less potential for confusion.  If you post again on the old thread, then it will be pushed to the top of the list of threads, so it will be easily seen by anyone here.  The previous poster may get e-mail notification of the reply.

Charles Pardoe left a will, you may wish to purchase a copy to see who he left property and possessions to. The probate index is online but this only names the executors not the legatees so you need the actual will for that. The 2 surviving daughters of Charles both left wills Frances having married a Williams and having children. There may well be surviving family of them in the area. The best bet would be to track her son Joseph Victor Williams.

There is a family tree for the family on Ancestry so may be worth contacting the owner.
