Hi - can anybody help?
My ggg grandfather was a Joseph Hassell b 1818, from Ticknell, Derbyshire and on the Census it states that he was a Hawker of Pottery, Silver and Crockery.  I don't seem to be able to find any info about his parents and wonder if anyone can help?  I know his wife's name (Sarah) and his 4 daughters but nothing prior to that.

Also, One of his daughters - my gggrandmother was Elizabeth Hassell who married another Hawker/Traveller - Nathaniel Bryan/Brian.  He was born in Northamptonshire (no specific place) and I am trying to trace him and his parents too.  He left my gggm and had a new lady Rosita from Warwickshire and they lived in a caravan.  Any info would be wonderful - tia.

When  and where did Jopseph marry? any baptism info for his daughters?

Have you found him on any census?
