1881 census living Chalk Lane, Newington (Hull), Elijah Jacobs b 1827, with wife Elizabeth & children Andrew, Lindsey & Ellen, all born Figheldean, Wiltshire.

residence in 1901, N Charlotte, New Brunswick, Canada, immigration 1883.

Of course this may not be the correct family

I am actually looking for the father of Elijah Jacobs. I found the records you mentioned but I am having trouble finding anything further than that. Thank you for answering my reply!!

The 1881 shows son Andrew as 21 but this is the family in 1861 living in Figheldean and all born there

Elijah    Jacobs    Amesbury    8   425  - there is an Elizabeth Peck on the same page

The 1841 has a 12yr old Elija Jacobs in Figheldean transcribed as Eliza Jacob but he is not with parents so you need to buy a copy of his marriage cert to get his fathers name.  He was at Alton Farm as a stableboy

On the same image is this Jacobs family living at Alton Cottages - all b Wiltshire.  William may be Elijah's father but you still need to buy the marriage cert to confirm it
