looking for Mary Taylor Bruce born circa 1829
« on: Sunday 01 November 15 22:12 GMT (UK) »
Hi

This information is not for me but this person  who has helped me with my research. can anyone help?

Mary Taylor Bruce - eldest daughter of John Bruce & Elizabeth Bruce m.s. Taylor. Mary aged 12 was with her family at the time of the 1841 census - they were living at Hawkhill, Dundee - The IGI showed her as being born 28th July 1829 & baptised on 28th August 1829 her parents having married in 1828. haven't located the family yet in 1851 but at the time of the 1861 census they were living at 18 Temple Lane Dundee
Mary was the eldest sister of - John Bruce.(1836) ..We don't know if Mary survived to adulthood & so far  not been able to locate her since the 1841 census.

If she was born in 1829 - she was probably married by 1851 so have you checked the IGI or Scotlands People for a marriage
