My ancestor Mary Pidsley married John Shobrooke on 30/10/1672 in Bishops Morchard Devon.
I have two candidates on LDS re her baptism -
Marie Pidslie bpt 22/12/1644 in Newton St Cyres
Marie Pidsleigh bpt 17/10/1650 in Crediton

Can anyone help me narrow it down please? Are any Bishops Morchard Parish records available on line or on disc?

do u have anymore information regarding the pidsley family from 1871 on wards it is such an unusual name my Gran was called Clarice pidsley and she had brothers and sisters called nelson (on the census his name is nebron witmore), Emma, Mary ,William, olive, Reginald, ,Alfred,Ronald and an illegitimate sister called Dorothy Gwendoline.     there dad was called William pidsley born 1871 the first wife of William was fanny Morgan born 1871 they married in 1890 in cheapest when fanny died at the age of 26 in DEC 1897 he re married her sister Emma Morgan she was born 1873 they married in 1898. do these people tie in anywhere with your ancestors. hope this is some help to you.
