FRY family of Somerset.

I have at least 3 siblings - William FRY married Sarah, Peter FRY bc 1783 at Wells Somerset, and John FRY married to Jane.  I don't know their parents.
William and Sarah had a large number of children - John, Elizabeth, Samuel, Sarah, Peter, Stephen, Rachel, Joanna, and Joanna.  Sibling Peter seems was a Batchelor, and sibling John and Jane had issue - George, Henry, Frederick, and Jane.
I know the author Plantagenet Somerset FRY is from this family but does anyone belong?!

These were three of the children of Stephen and Joanna Fry, of Milton near Wells. Other children include Sarah 1762, Rachel 1765, Samuel 1771 and Francis 1775. I am descended from Rachel.

I'd never heard of  Plantagent Somerset Fry before but looking at trees on Ancestry it appears he was descended from John and Jane.

Hi all

Firstly, thanks for the reply's.  I'm researching the family my one of my besties, but mine is so boring compared to the FRY's!

Basically we have not made ANY contact with a FRY relative!  We've had a brickwall for a few years because of spelling and handwriting issues on Australian certificates.

From my research so far, we know we are FRY's from Somerset, Wells and Evercreech.  From David's response I know we are descended from Francis and Joanna FRY through their son John FRY and his daughter Jane FRY.  Jane's son Henry migrated to Australia in 1857.  We are already soooo proud of Jane for what it seems she sacrificed and endured for her family!

Peter George Robin FRY aka Plantagenet Somerset FRY, is the great grandson of George FRY bc1805 and Sarah FRY bc1805.

The brickwall came down when we deciphered a scribble as FRY.  The Australian connection know absolutely nothing so all our info has come from Ancestry's records.
