I like that Derek, much better than some bloke on a horse as a memorial.

I agree, it's really beautiful, a nicer way, I think, of remembering.

 Castle Bromwich Ruskie....there's a remembrance parade there this morning,there will be lots of youngsters proudly walking in their uniforms to remember those who fell,its very humbling to see them.

Thank you for posting a photo of this different but beautiful memorial Derek.

Have just been watching the service from the Cenotaph in London. Now its the march past which I always find very moving and emotional.

I was glad to see the traffic was stopped this morning at our local memorial, last year it wasn't and I and others were spitting tacks! Also there was also a very large turnout this year which was fantastic.
