And yes, loads more info on the index than NSW. Including I must add .... a heading "Sex" and for my couple of Vic births .... they have noted their sex as "unknown"
My ancient, but alive and alert rellies, including the retired NSW BDM chap .... they are 'beside' themselves .... appreciating the index and trying hard to find a flaw. They can only find the "unknown" response as a possible flaw. So, I will defend Vic BDM and say "Well, if NSW were to have such a heading, would it have the staff on hand to go through all the historic NSW BDM records and determine, one by one, if the record shows the birth was for a male or for a female" .... and ummm .... there must have been a line fault as the phone went dead on the STD call.
Perhaps HE will join RChat .... it won't cost him any brass .... and he knows lots....
