Trying to confirm details of robert william including his date of death.
the date we had appears incorrect as we have found a letter from him to my gran informning her of her mothers death. this is after the date we have helen as passing away on.

so we believe it would be after 13/12/1956

I don't think that is the right robert. I do have the marriage cert. it is dated as married nov 15 1911. Robert was apparently 21. He was a labourer living in Plumbland (?) at the time. His father was John Armstrong a fireman

No Robert William (born about 1890) death records for 40 years after 1956 but 2 Robert Armstrongs deaths recorded in Cockermouth, near Plumbland.
