Hi KHP

Thank you for your thoughts on William Ernest FLOWER. I think you are correct as I wondered where William Mouseley Flower fitted into the FLOWER name.

May be William went with his mother Ellen since it appears that the rest of the family stayed in Murchison and are buried in Murchison Cemetery.

Not sure where the William Mouseley Flower fits in, there are online trees for him, but can not see William Ernest Flower in them, but they all resided in the same area.

As you say looking for a needle in the haystack :D

Many thanks for all your help
Helen

One aged 83 at Collingwood New, and one aged 86 at Takaka.  Nothing showing for the 1881.

Cheers

Hi KHP
Thank you for the information on Ellen FLOWER/S died in 1938. Not sure if they will fit as Ellen married Alfred FLOWER in 1860 ( according to online family information at Collingwood).
Would there be an intention to marry for this marriage? Maybe that will get me Ellen's age.

Have not been able to find the one in Takaka but I have find the one buried in Collingwood.

As the ages given if correct make Ellen born in the 1850's so marriage in 1860 not likely. Still it let me know where these on fit.

So many thanks
Helen

Regarding the Flower Family History.  I have extensively researched the Family of Henry Truefit Flower arriving on the Bombay into Nelson 1842.  Looks like Helen 13 is from the UK, so maybe you know about Samuel and Agnus and his siblings.  Looking forward to hearing from you.
