Harold SELLERS baptism c1904

Harold SELLERS appears to have been born on 25 Apr 1904 in Fairfield, Derbyshire, son of Alfred Knowles SELLERS and Sarah Louise (nee LEE).

In 1911 they are living at 35 Windsor Road, Fairfield, Derbyshire.

He went on to marry Vera LANE in 1925 (Earlestown, Lancashire) but they returned to Derbyshire to live - last known address was:
29 Dakins Lane, Fairfield, Derbyshire

Does anyone have his baptism details in their tree?

Hi,

He is NOT living with his parents in 1911.

However when he married 31st October 1925 Wigan, Lancs he states that is Father is Alfred Sellers.
When he marries he gives 35 Windsor Road, Fairfield as his address.  You can see this on Ancestry
under "Wigan Marriages 1754-1926"

The only way to be certain of dob and parents is to purchase birth registration certificate.

Spendlove is right, the birth certificate is the actual document you need. His marriage (by licence) to Vera Lane is also shown on Lancs opc, confirming father was Alfred a labourer and Harold a fireman of 35 Windsor Road Fairfield http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Search/indexp.html

Update:

On 25th April 1904 at 3 Ashton Terrace, Windsor Road, Fairfield - Harold Sellers was born to Alfred Knowles Sellers (a carter) and Sarah Louisa Sellers (nee Lee). The mother is the informant and listed at the same address. The birth was registered on 31 May 1904.

So I guess DNA would only confirm if the father was the father stated for sure!
