Headstone in Buckland Brewer
« on: Saturday 14 November 15 23:20 GMT (UK) »
I have been told there is a headstone in Buckland Brewer for Harriet Fulford who died in 1842. If anyone in the area is able to find it i would be very grateful for the exact wording on it please
I have conflicting data from censuses, baptism records and a transcript of a journal  which i have been told is all resolved by the wording of the memorial inscription. Hope some one can look for me when this awful storm calms down :)

What a great link I've book marked it.
The wording does indeed sort the problem.
There was a doubt about a child being one of Bartholomew and Harriet's as she was recorded in the register as daughter of Bartholomew and Elizabeth. A second doubt was a journal had referred to them as a family of six children and finally Elizabeth and the next child,Christiana never appear together on censuses making it possible there was only one girl using both names.
So you have solved the problem beautifully as the grave says Harriet had seven children.
Can;t thank you enough
