Gerd Edwin Paul Kaess

The medical reason Gerd Edwin Paul Kaess (1947-1972) had for not serving in the Bundeswehr was based on a physical illness or hospital stay when he was 12 years old. It was not psychological in nature.
Unrelated, Arnhild Kaess states that the reason her brother Gerd Edwin Paul Kaess left for America is that he wanted more independence. Also, he had psychological issues with his step mom Hildegard Golz (1924-2004).

Arnhild Kaess states that Gerd Edwin Paul Kaess (1947-1972) traveled by plane when he came to America in 1965.
