Workhouses

I have family members who died in Workhouses in Lancashire. How can I find out if their children lived in the workhouse? Are there lists of names of individuals who lived in workhouses? Thanks.

Workhouses had infirmaries, so although they died there they may not have been inmates of the workhouse.
