Hi
1902 attestation shows next of kin as brothers Herbert Campbell Liversidge, address not known, Charles Percy Liversidge of 8 Ashleigh, Liverpool and mother Mary of the same address. He attested 10.4.02 and was discharged 7th August1902 as "inefficient" - his discharge in 1914 is similar as he only lasted 10 days. The document states that he was discharged "in consequence of not being likely to become an efficient special reservist".

William
Dent (Haltwhistle and Sacriston), Bell and Jetson (Haltwhistle), Postle, Ward, Longstaff, Purvis, Manners, Parnaby and Hardy (Co. Durham), Kennedy and McRobert (Banffshire), Reid(Bathgate), Watson (Wemyss), Graham (Libberton), Sandilands (Carmichael), Munro (Dingwall)

Yes - sister Georgina at 12:25 noon. Don't know which was born first.  Oddly, the births weren't registered until March.

Fascinating, and not entirely surprising if family folklore is any guide (see above).  (afterthought): given this ignominious episode in 1902, when he tried to sign up again, perhaps Harry decided to change his birthplace to Nannerch in case anyone checked up?

If anyone out there has any idea what happened to the Charles Percy mentioned here, I would be most interested.  He was a middle manager with the Lancs & Yorks Assurance Co. in Liverpool in 1903, but vanishes after that.  The folklore says he topped himself, but I've found no record of that either.
