I have received a death certificate today and the address looks like -
Old F(J)ounds?  Hungate.
Any idea's ?

Thanks both very much for your replies.  Someone has suggested The Old Foundry, Hungate and looking at it through my best magnifying glass I think that's what it is. 
The end of the word foundry runs into another word.   Still not sure where about in York is was as there is nothing on Google

Looking at Genuki there appear to be two areas known as Hungate - hence my question

Hungate - associated with Methley
Hungate -a hamlet in the township of Sawley and parish of Ripon

There is a street in York city called Hungate, not far from the Minster, running down to the river
