Minister at St Peters Church, Pietermaritzburg, 1941

Good day everyone,

Just joined this fabulous looking forum, so this is my first post! Hope someone can help.

I'm trying to find the name of a minister who married my grandparents in 1941.
I think I have the spelling of his name correct but I may be wrong. I have a copy of the marriage register but his handwriting is not clear.
Was hoping someone knew or could tell me how to find out the spelling of his name.
I've tried calling the church in Pietermaritzburg (I'm in the UK) but haven't had any luck to be told it is now a tourism centre?!

The minister's name looks like Henry Shelton, St Peter's Church, Pietermartizburg. Marriage was in 1941.
Can anyone confirm this spelling?

Could you show us the image , or tell us your grandparents names please

Thank you for the reply. My grandparents names are Eric Daniel Anderson and Beryl Anderson (nee Lovering). Thanks for the help.
