Birth Index - Volume ##, Page ##A?
« on: Friday 11 December 15 00:47 GMT (UK) »
I'm looking at a birth index entry from England, 1904. It's the first time I've come across an entry with the page number having this extra label. Page A suggests a page B?

Can anyone clear up for me what it signifies?

Thanks.

Hi

A Page A doesn't suggest a Page B, it is usually used where the GRO have added a page between two others ie Page 93. Page 93A, Page 94

Ah, thanks for that Andy.

I presume the extra page is added because page 94 has already started. So just a matter of running out of space on page 93?
