I know my maternal grandmother, Miriam Griffiths, was in Hatton asylum in the 1920s and appears to have been in and out of there until the 1950s. I believe she was born in 1895 in Aston and lived with Joseph Coley, my mother's father. Saw a post that someone's mum worked there for a long time and was a fountain of knowledge. Would very much like to hear from anyone who worked there or knows of someone who did.
