i am trying to trace any of my grandads family from liverpool my grandads name was joseph orr and was born in wallasey liverpool in the 1920's he had to brothers lawerence and ronald and a sister i know his mother was from dublin ireland and had a thick irish acent ,his father was born in liverpool and was a medic in the first world war and then worked on the docks after the war,my grandads father passed away when my grandad was 13\14 yrs old of shrapnel wounds and then he contracted cancer  ,my grandad later joined the raf and was a chief mechanic this is were he met my gran joan mary wiltshire now orr,am desprete to find my grandads side of the family as i really would love to meet
them

Getting one of their birth certs would give you names of the parents.  You have mothers maiden name as O'Brien.
Not spotting a marriage - I wonder if that was in Ireland?

I can't find Alice's Irish roots but I think she died in 1976 in Knowsley registration district. Date of birth appears to be 1 Sep 1892.
