Allen family from derbyshire

Hi i am new to this site and am wondering if anyone can help me with my family history.
I am looking for information about my grandfather. His name was fredrick stanley painter and he was born in derby at around 1899. He married my grandmother elizabeth painter also from derby, england. They had a child my father who was called dennis allen and was born in 1927. I do not have much information about my grandfather has my father was brought up by his mum only. I beleve my grandfather maried again but i have not found any information and he died in 1961 before i was born. Looking forward to hearing from anyone with any information

There is a death in 1961 Derby registration district showing on freebmd but the name is shown as Frederick A Painter (age 74).

Do you have your fathers birth certificate as it would show his fathers names and his mothers maiden name

Are you saying your Grandfather was Frederick Stanley Painter who married an Elizabeth Painter who had a child Dennis Allen Painter  ?  Your title was Allen family

Sorry my grandfather was fredrick stanley allen. He married elizabeth painter. My father was dennis allen

Yes that is his marriage to my grandmother. My father last saw his father fredrick stanley allen in the 1930s. We do not know any more information about him. We did hear from someone that he had more children with someone else but i have not bedn able to find any information about them.

We really need to establish his place and date of birth to be able to track him forwards.  We are not allowed to mention living people on here. 

Maybe getting the marriage certificate for Frederick & Elizabeth will give more clues on him.

Elizabeth May Painter married Fred (not Frederick) Stanley Allen at St Giles, Normanton according to the Derbyshire index

There is this possibility for a birth for a Fred Stanley Allen a bit earlier than you suggested

That sounds like my grandfather i have the mariage cetificate for fredrick and elizabeth and my dads birth cetificate. How would i go about finding out who registered his death. I know you cannot mention living people on her just need information about finding out about it.
