Finding my half brother
« on: Wednesday 16 December 15 14:53 GMT (UK) »
I'm not sure if I am in the right place.  This is brand new to me.   I have been online trying to find my half brother.   I only know my dad's info and his wife's first name.   I know my brothers name and month snd year he was born.   We believe he may have been put up for adoption

Dear Elphaba1025

Welcome to RootsChat, we are a family history forum that researches the ancestry of our normally long deceased family members.

To increase the chances of finding distant family connections anything posted is viewable across the internet which is great for making connections but not in any connection to folk who maybe living as often the details given are sensitive information. To protect people and their identities we do not encourage the posting of information about people who are or maybe still living.

Please have a look at this link which gives some guidance on researching living folk, that may help with your search. You may be able to find a marriage record for him, what searches have you already made ?

Wishing you the best of Luck with your research.
