CARROLL maggie born c.1888 Tralee Co. Kerry

Maggie Carroll was my grandmother, she married an Englishman William Robert Lowe in Bedford, England in 1906, he was a soldier with the Royal Army Medical Corps stationed in Ireland from 1905 to approx 1910 returned to England. My mother Elizabeth was born in Fermoy Co.Cork 15/08/1907 and her sister Margaret was born in England 14/01/1911. Strange thing is on my mothers birth certificate the mothers maiden name is given as Carroll but on her younger sisters birth certificate mothers maiden name is given as Moynihan??? I know the two daughters were bought up by their Aunt from young children. What happened to Maggie did she return to Ireland . Can anybody throw any light on this matter please.

On the Marriage certificate the father is given as John Carroll (deceased ) police constable

In the 1911 census the all the family were back in bedford england

On my mothers birth certificate a b.prenderville was given as the informant
on her sisters birth certificate the father w.r.lowe was the informant
