St Peter's Yaxley, 1825 marriage, Kisby to Chambers

24th July 1825, Robert Kisby to Mary Chambers, St Peter's, Yaxley, Huntingdonshire.

Bapt of Mary Ann Chambers, dau,John Hilder Chambers/Elizabeth, John was a Cordwainer.

Thanks very much for the marriage, David and Margaret.

I have to admit I hadn't noticed that FreeReg had Yaxley marriages.

The marriage is definitely the correct one, as the Robert Kisby I'm interested in was indeed from March, and he did have a sister called Ann, who is no doubt the first witness.

Thanks also for the baptism, Margaret, but I'm afraid that isn't the right one.

Mary was 30 when she was buried in January 1837, so she was born much earlier than 1817 (which would have made her rather young to marry in 1825...).

Robert's 2nd wife was Harriet Chambers from Great Wratting, Suffolk, and Harriet had a sister Mary baptised in Great Wratting in 1806, who I think is pretty sure to be Robert's first wife.
