Adams family, Somerset.

i am trying to trace my fathers family. His father was Bertram William adams 1889 - 1957 buried Stubbington. His father was William Adams born c 1856 in Swell, Somerset. I believe his wife was Margaret born same year in Curbridge/curdridge? Hants. The earliest reference I have is 1901 census living in Titchfield and then at Gosport, and despite searching various sites can find no more information on them.  Can anyone help with what my next move should be please. Very new to searching!
