Jane Dean b abt 1809 Hertfordshire m Thos Scott Cole

I am  trying to trace Jane DEAN born abt 1809 in Shenley Hertfordshire. She married Thos Scott COLE in 1826, and died in Chelsea in 1869.
I cannot trace anything about her birth or parents, as the marriage info came from Church Banns so no parents named. I also cannot find her in 1861 census - she would have been a widow as husband died in 1859.
Any help tracing birth/baptism or 1861 census would be greatly appreciated.

Quite often it is necessary to find out the parish records and search for the family if they stayed in the one area.
