Help with scanning family photos
« on: Monday 28 December 15 10:48 GMT (UK) »
I have lots of photos which I would like to digitise, but the thought of putting each one under the lid of my Epson printer/scanner is a bit daunting! Just wondered what others do. Are there any good handheld scanners?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm no expert, but when scanning smaller photos, I take the easy way and just fill up the whole tray - scan, save and then separate each image in my photo editing programme.  Great time saver!

Hi,

if you or a friend might have a good camera with macro lens, this will be faster.

Keep all the photos prepared and sorted by size.
