Witness to an 1817 Tamworth, Staffs Marriage

Hi Chatters:

Would appreciate some help with the signature of Witness 1 on this Parish Record for an 1817 Marriage in Tamworth Staffordshire. It's not similar to either of the surnames for the bride (Phillips) and groom (Bown).

Wondered if the first name was - John - but I'm stuck on the surname.

Hargreaves or perhaps Hargraves looks like a good fit.

I'd not been thinking of the first letter of the surname as a small letter. Was stuck on thinking it was a capital 'N'.

Its possible, but I think I still lean towards Hargreaves.
