Wrens Nest Farm
« on: Sunday 03 January 16 17:33 GMT (UK) »
I am researching my Grandfathers family in Dudley. My Grandfather John William (Bill) Martin b 1907 along with his two brothers Harold b 1911 and David b 1910 leased a farm on top of the Wrens Nest Nature Reserve off the Earl of Dudley. Not much is known about this farm except it was located near the seven sister caves and that the families probably moved out from there during the 1950's. We also know that the football team was set up by them in the barn. Any information/photos would be much appreciated. Thank you.

  • Manners cost nothing, and are worth the effort.

Hi Chris I am Geralds daughter. He and uncle John (your Grandad) are cousins I know your parents well and remember you as a little boy. Hope everyone is well. I am trying to get as much info together as I can for my Dad though there's not much about. I looked through records at Dudley for about 3 hours and found very little Mel
