Cork and Ross is the Dioceses.
It will be from a Parish within that Diocese.
Assuming it RC there will be no Cert as it is too early.
Did you find it here http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/
Or here http://registers.nli.ie/

If you give us the name and details we can have a look at it and perhaps be able to give better informed information.

Thanks for your reply, I can't remember where I got it from , but as you say it's too early for certificates , I would love to obtain some information on Denis Callaghan, as I have no birth or baptism certificate, maybe you can help me, I have been searching for over seven years , Denis Callaghan was born 1824 I think in cork, he died in 1879 London . The marriage I looked at was 29th November 1845 between Denis Callaghan and hanorah Mahoney.  In cork   Thanks

The correct address is www.irishgenealogy.ie

Previous topics for Denis Callaghan on Irish boards-

Denis Callaghan (Cork, 2014) where you've asked exactly the same question about the marriage record- and details were posted for you

denis callaghan and hanorah mahoney (Dublin, 2013)

trying to find ancestor denis callaghan (Ireland, 2011) which has 7 pages f replies!

There is a topic at the moment about difficulties with people posting multiple requests for the same information, not reading advice, etc.

Yes I have asked the some questions in the past years. As I couldn't get any information on my g/g/ grandfather.i recently I looked on www.irishgeneology.ie and found the marriage details of Denis Callaghan marrying Hanora mahony, 29th November 1845. As I have said before the only info I have is Kilmurry moviddy kilbonane @ cannavee (rc). Area cork @ Ross I have emailed the gro in Dublin and have been informed the only way I could find this information is by finding the church, for 1845 which I have been looking for, I have looked at the cork@ross website and it seems the only parish applicable is Kilmurry.  Any information would be appreciated.     Thankyou.

There is no way the church would be able to trace any further information for you as whats on the marriage register is all you will get

thanks so what you are saying it shoes to matter who I email at Kilmurry parish , I won't get a photocopy of a marriage certificate, also being that you seem to know a lot more than me, would you happen to know which parish the marriage took place at?  And where it says occupation blank does it mean they had no occupations . So the churches don't have copies of marriage certificates ,I know that the gro emailed me to say that I would have to get in touch with the parish . At least I know there were two witnesses. Thankyou.

the Priest who performed the marriage in 1845 was James B Daly if you could pin him down on some register in Cork circa 1845 that might help.
I have never seen a catholic register yet where occupations are recorded.
