Peter Hart Lawson
« on: Tuesday 12 January 16 15:17 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for any info on Peter Hart Lawson born in Paisley on 16/4/1898 to Peter and Mary Lawson (nee McMillan). He does not appear in the 1901 or 1911 census. Next appearance on any certificates is a marriage to Annie McSporran on 5/8/1919. His is listed as a miner. Banns read at Bargaeddie Parish Church. He died on 7/3/1960. He 3 or 4 children. The death certificate was signed by E. Hunter his son in law. Peter Hart Lawson would have been my uncle and he is a missing link in the family history that I am in the progress of doing.

If he married in 1919 then he should certainly be around in 1901/1911 - have you found his parents in 1901?  Did they have any children with them?

Was Peter senior born & baptised in 1866 Paisley, married by 1891 with 2 yr old son Robert, and with his parents Robert & Elizabeth (nee Hart) in Neilson St, Paisley in 1901?

If so, what was his marital status in 1901 per the image on Scotlandspeople (still married? or widowed?) and have you traced his wife Mary, if she was still alive, in 1901?
