measure of barley and potatoes
« on: Thursday 14 January 16 15:30 GMT (UK) »
In his will of 1832  Robert  Roberts bequeaths a "hobat   / hobal" of potatoes and barley to his beloved wife Jane.
I can not find either in my dictionaries
Please can someone help.

I think the word in question is hobet, which is an old unit of measure of grain particularly in Wales
