Langdon yellow rose
« on: Sunday 17 January 16 17:06 GMT (UK) »
John Langdon from St Stephens was a mine manager in Australia in the late 1800s. When he returned home to Cornwall on visits the family held a party. Every family member at the party wore a yellow rose. Does anyone know please the significance of this Langdon (or Cornish) yellow rose?

Hi

and welcome to RootsChat  :)

There is a site here that mentions 'Welcome Back' as a meaning for a yellow rose, could be a possible.
