Hello Malky, it's kind of you to retrieve this report about John Adrian Lewis. It's full of useful facts which I've done my best to follow up, but none has yet led to an image of this man. Did RAF personnel have exams, and graduations, like the Navy do? I'm wondering if there are e.g. class photos from the 1930s, and if so, where? I've also found out he was a 'Halston?? brat' - does anyone know what that means?

how about trying Doncaster rovers football club or their historian they may have a photo of both the teams

Halton! Yes that's better. Thank you. And Harrywrag, yes there may be a greater chance of Doncaster having a photo - except that they lost the match and would have been pretty miffed about it... so may not have preserved any photos. But worth a try, definitely.
