There is a record for a marriage for Richard Pickup Hacking in 1907 Blackburn

Also a death for a Richard P Hacking Darwen Lancashire 1940

There's also a possible marriage in 1902 in Blackburn

And a possible Christening for William Hacking age 6 on the 1911 census

William Hacking bap 6 Nov 1904 St Peter's Church, St Paul's Church, Rishton, Lancashire
son of Richard Pickup  & Jane Hacking

If correct family the 1902 marriage could be the correct one as there is a Jane Alston on the list of names
Rogers-Buckinghamshire
Pitwell- Buckinghamshire
Fisher- Middlesbrough
Robinson-Middlesbrough
Foxton - Yorkshire
Carruthers - Scotland
Gibson - Northumberland

Ok so it seems Richard pickup married three times and as far as I'm aware 5 kids with first wife two children with his second not sure about third I was thinking that about the Alston women too.

Richard was born ten years earlier then the marriage of that couple could it still be possible though if they had the child and named him that as he was there child?

Sorry if that doesn't make sense

Can i just say on the 1911 census child Herbert Alston Hacking leaves us a clue!! Alston been his middle name would really make sense if his mother was Jane Alston
Rogers-Buckinghamshire

Fisher- Middlesbrough

Foxton - Yorkshire
