The only thing that doesn't make sense is the boy was called Herbert not Albert?

Ok this is weirder Alfred has mothers maidan names as cottam and Alston??? Work that one out

Ok no I lie cottam had an Alfred Alston had an Albert same year so I'm not sure what's happened there? Did he have these children at the same time ? Possible split for second marriage or is this nothing to do with my people

Yes but if you put in a wider amount of dates it seems Cottam had another child by a hacking in the same year as Alston did also by a hacking

1903 I believe also something else that don't add up little James from census 1901 has gone missing then when it asks how many children on census 1911 it states 6 when it should have been seven where is little James
