Seminary for Ladies - Bangor
« on: Saturday 16 July 05 19:54 BST (UK) »
Two of my gg aunts ( Maria and  Emily Ingram both born in France) were noted as Principals of a Seminary for Ladies in the 1871 census. The address was (I think I have read this correctly) 3 Pennallt Villas Bangor. They had two boarders (obviously not a big school !!) Fanny Wright and Claira Heeling.
Does anyone have any info about this type of school in this area

Many thanks
Cal  :)
