1891 census help for George Ricketts

I know that the 1891 census was taken on 5th April, my ancestor George Ricketts was a visitor at Formosa Street London at the time. However I also have a George Ricketts in the infirmary from 4th April - 23
rd
April 1891. Does this mean the infirmary one is not my relative!!?
Also I am still struggling to find George Ricketts in the 1871 census. He was born St Marylebone 1821 and his occupation was either a Servant/Butler or he worked also on the Railways. any help would be gratefully received.

I can only find one 1891 entry - surname Rickett not Ricketts, widower/visitor, and just shown as born Middlesex - not specifically St Marylebone. No occupation is shown for comparison purposes
What are the details for the one "in the infirmary"

Hi CaroleW
Yes that is the right census.
The infirmary one is on Ancestry but the details are:
George Ricketts
Admission Date 4 Feb 1891
Discharge Date 23 Apr 1891
Record Type Admission and Discharge
Borough Westminster
Parish or Poor Law Union Paddington
Place London, England
Title Harrow Road Workhouse Register, 1890-1892
Link is:

Not sure if that will work!

Hi

However I also have a George Ricketts in the infirmary from 4th April - 23rd April 1891.
The entry you have posted says he was admitted 4th February - not April
It also gives no identifying details for comparison purposes so unless you are able to obtain further information as to the "infirmary" man's birthyear etc I can't see anything that would suggest the 1891 entry is the same person

Hi Carole
Sorry I meant 4th February. But because there was two George Ricketts listed in (1) the census 1891 and (2) the Infirmary records does it mean that they would definitely
not
be the same people?
ie they could not be staying in two places at the same time?

Hi
If he was continuously in hospital from 4 Feb to 23 April - how could he have been a visitor in a household on 5th April? Unless they let him out of hospital and forgot to note the records?
Until you are able to confirm the birthyear and birthplace of the infirmary GR - I don't see how you can link them as one and the same person

Thanks Carole
I have found the 1891 census for Harrow Road Workhouse and George Ricketts is not on it!!! So the mystery deepens. I think I have the right one 289 Harrow Road Paddington. So it is still probable that it is the same person I guess!! Not sure where else I can look. Any ideas anyone?
