Brighton pre 1837 marriage look up please
« on: Wednesday 20 January 16 17:40 GMT (UK) »
Interested in detail of the marriage of Christopher and Elizabeth Clinch of 16 Bond Street Brighton which I think must have taken place in Brighton. They were there in the 1841 Census [both aged 30] with son Christopher aged 6. I think the Census return identifies Christopher senior as born in Ireland.

I am actually after connections to the other tenant of the property Walter Flinn who was my mother's gg grandfather also born in Ireland [Dublin]. I would like to know if there is information on Mr Clinch's parents so I can try to trace them in Dublin and chase down a possible migration date from Dublin to Brighton!

Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Thanks very much for that swift response.
I was hoping for details of the father and his trade which you would have got post 1837 but the data base clearly doesn't provide this.

Pre 1837 parish records do not generally record that information. It is not a question of not being on the database - the info is not on the original in the first place!
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex
