Samsung Galaxy S4 mini - refusing to send text messages

Hi, phone was working fine yesterday.  Today it refuses to send any texts - all are notified as failed although I can make calls. As far as I am aware I have not made any changes.

Have tried turning off and back on after a wait on a couple of occasions now but no luck.

Anybody any ideas to help a technophobe please.

If you still have this problem, its worth checking that the Message Centre number set up to send texts hasn't been mysteriously removed or become corrupt. I'm not familiar with the settings menu of your phone, but somewhere you need to find Messaging settings which will have an option Message Centre. This should have a phone number in it. The number depends on your provider.
