1972 Marriage in Elkton, Maryland

My uncle married his second wife in Elkton in 1972.  Both have since passed away.

I would like to obtain a copy of their marriage certificate but am not sure if this is possible (too recent).  I have looked online for suggestions but so far have drawn a blank.  Any ideas?

This looks very promising and I will pursue.  One problem is that I do not know the exact marriage date, which they ask for.  Many thanks.
