I am trying to confirm the marriage in St Swithins Church, Walcot, Bath, Somerset on 1st February 1802 of Edward DENCH. Initial findings show it was to Ann Smith but other public family trees show otherwise.

The Somerset marriages [post 1754] on findmypast have bride transcribed as Anne Smith. That's the only resource I can find, not the original parish register.

Yes I do try and contact Public Tree owners, the majority never respond and the few that do admit copying info from elsewhere.
I do ignore all information that is without sources or citations as it normally means they have just copied unverified data.
The replies have confirmed my findings so that is what I will stay with. Thanks for your responses.
