Groves - A place near Sutton / Hull

I know this thread is very old but I also have an interest in Groves. I found a burial for my 5th great-grandfather at Holy Trinity Kingston-upon-Hull. His abode was listed as Groves. I'm Canadian so I have no idea the geography of Yorkshire. My 5th great-grandfather was a carpenter according to one of his son's marriage records. Interesting one of you mentioned a Hodgson street because my 4th great-grandmother was a Hodgson from Yorkshire.
