Charles and Anne

Charles Small married Anne Bibby in 1838 at Liverpool. Can anyone see them in 1841 and/or 1851?
It's possible that Charles died before 1841 (Freebmd) so Anne Small may be living alone or with children.
It's unlikely that Anne died before 1851 (Freebmd) and it doesn't look like she remarried before 1851.

Looking at Familysearch Charles and Ann may have had the following children

Lewis bap 17.8.1845 St Peters
James Charles Edward bap 25.2.1858

This might be Charles in 1861

Charles Small 34 widow b Liverpool hairdresser
James Small son 3 b Liverpool

lodging in a boarding house at 37 Denison Street Liverpool RG09/2668/60/23

Here they are in 1851 at 37 Denison Street again (doesn't say its a boarding house this time but several at that address)

For some reason Charles come up on his own on FindMyPast Lewis Ann and the lodgers don't come up in the search

Ann probably died 1/4 1861

I suspect that this Ann was Ann Neale who married Charles Small in 1844 (LancsBMD) their son being born a year later in 1845. However, this may be the same Charles Small as I've now found the death of an Ann Small in 1842 in Liverpool (FreeBMD). (Previously I'd searched for Anne Small).
So maybe this is Ann Small nee Bibby and they don't appear to be on the 1841 census.

Might well be that Charles is the wrong one

This was my starting point. Seacombe is near Liverpool and Toxteth is in Liverpool so this could be the right Charles. I have a problem with her father Richard Bibby. However, I don't think this can be solved by census and I need to wait for more parish records to come online.

From OPC? Yes I have but it's Richard and Ellen. 
There's a lot more to this and it's complicated so I'll leave it for now until I have more details.
