Joseph Holland
« on: Tuesday 09 February 16 07:07 GMT (UK) »
Hello, I am looking for the parents of a Joseph Holland born about 1831 at Harpurhey Lancashire. On the several census's I have found for him he also said he was born at Barnes green. As I do not know the geography of Lancashire this has got confusing. On family search there is an Elizabeth born 1832 at Harpurhey to a Robert and Mary but have not found any more information.
Thank you for your help in anticipation
Sheila

Thank you both, I believe he married Mary Oliver in 1855 in Liverpool.

I suspect that they never married  :o  So which of them was still married to someone else?  Son Williams 2nd baptism  ::)  on 1st December 1869 at Christ Church Salford has the surname Oliver crossed out and Holland inserted.
