Rochester St Margaret-CARTER Family

Hi, I am new member with first post. We can go back to Edward Carter (b: c1814)/Rebecca Rawlinson & have established that my wife is descended from their son; Edward James Carter (b: 1848)/Elizabeth Ann Hall.
We are trying to find the names/dates of any other siblings of both Edward & Edward James plus any known forbears of Edward.
Our Carters moved from Rochester to Stratford E15 in late 1800's. Any help/guidance would be much appreciated.

Hello Bill, I gave up all the 'family tree' bit when I realised it was becoming a sort of obsession...... However, I do still (dabble on behalf of others).
I  have no records of the Carter connections that you mention but we only skimmed the surface of the Carters from Chatham/Rochester area. Would be good to talk though. You never know. I can share whatever I have got so far (it may take a bit of time to retrieve the data) but our Carter side ended up on the railways in Stratford, London & and then out to Essex after WW2.
