Dating Photograph - T Tufnell Thompson, Blackpool

I wonder if anyone can help me with dating the attached photograph please?

It's of my Grandfather (centre) and I'm guessing two of his brothers.

The photographer is T Tufnell, Thompson, South Beach, Blackpool. It's attached to a card type mounting and there is nothing on the reverse.

Well it all looks typically Edwardian but can't really get much closer based on their clothing.

Looking at the collarless shirts of the two seated chaps, I would say sometime during the 1920's.

If you had given your Grandfathers year of birth, it would have helped to be more accurate.

Could it be earlier.  I have found a notification of the death of Thomas Tuffnell Thompson of 13 Wellington Terrace, Blackpool, on 16th June 1892.

It could be earlier. Men dressed like this over a long period.
However the gold embossed cardstock is a v.late 1890's style & typical of the 1900's.
I don't think I've seen it any earlier.
It wasn't unusual for studios to carry on trading under the original name, often by their wives.

Sorry, yes, I should have mentioned, my granddad was born in 1877... hard to say how old he is on the photo though?? Maybe 20s perhaps??
