So excited to have found you - the notes on the Facebook page have set us all off on new searches. The Quatt cottage being called the White House at some time in its past solved a decades old mystery - we had a pic of the cottage in our house and Daddy (Robert Henry - known as Harry - our line of Watkinses never used their own names!) used to say it was our 'ancestral home'! Your dad Jack Harry is probably also Jack Henry is some parish records - which is why we get so confused!
What does confuse me though is your post on another site about a Richard Watkins, an uncle of yours, who was wounded in France? Who's son would that be if he's your uncle? (I'm not good on all this relationship stuff!) Herbert (my grandfather and your great grandfather's brother) had a son called Richard but the dates/history are all wrong. So many Richards!

Hi there 'Dorol24' ...I  recently starting looking at my family tree again..please get in touch via private message  or contact me via the facebook page called -  'Alveley family history shropshire'
