Ladywell Cemetery, SE London - Photo Please!!!

Hi! I was wondering if a kind person out there might be able to take a photo and make a note of an MI for me when they are next in Ladywell Cemetery (Brockley & Ladywell Cemetery) in SE London? I live abroad and rarely get back to the UK and would love to actually see the grave of my relatives.

If possible, the details are as follows:

The grave is for the Richards family. The grave is number 290 in Section G.

I have attached a general map of the entire cemtery, and a more precise map that the local council sent me of the grave location - roughly where the red box is in section G.

I have also attached a list of the people in the grave.

As they were a family of stone masons and had a shop at 333 Brockely Rd just outside the gates to Brockley Cemetery (I believe until it was bombed in WW2 and is now a patch of grass in front of a block of flats), I am rather expecting there to be a headstone!

Any offers of help would be very gratefully appreciated!

I've added them to my "to be done" list (which includes some of my own rellies). The good news is that the edges at least of section G are fairly clear of vegetation. The bad news is that the grave wasn't recorded on the MIs list on the NWKFHS site, so there may not be a headstone (did the cemetery say?) but don't despair, that list isn't complete.

Hello Chris - you are a star!  I know you are very busy with various requests so I shall wait to hear from you when you have the time!  I do hope there is a headstone - the council didn't say when they sent me the more precise map - and I also noticed no mention of them on the NWKFHS site - perhaps not a good sign.  I'll see if the council keeps a record of whether there is a headstone and let you know ... thanks again, Nina

Hi Chris - just had a very speedy reply from the council to say 'yes, there is a Full Memorial on the Grave with Cross & Kerbs landing'.  I will PM you with this info in case you don't see this message ...
